the easiest way to move a site, is use Akeeba backup to create the backup archive (JPA file), the use Akeeba Kickstart to extract the backup and run its internal installer to restore it on whatever server it needs to be.

The issue with "quickstarts" in the normal sense is they're intended as demos of, for instance a template. They could have lack of currency in that they contain an old Joomla release, or old extensions or extensions that require subscriptions to be use etc.
If you're doing all the dev for your clients, hosting the site and so forth of course you're going to keep it all up to date, so the best way to deploy the new developed site is as above with Akeeba. The JPA archive contains the full backup - both database and Joomla system files. It takes only a few minutes to restore the site to whatever server you want.
