I've spent a lot of time on this issue I am having. I kept thinking it was something I was doing wrong and at the end I just approached it one step at a time and I can't really see my mistake. If this is expected behaviour it's a real problem because a big website needs lots of differents users with different access reasons.![:geek:]( "Geek")
Background
I needed a login and registration for different types of users. Lets call one the newsletter subscribers and the other Property Managers. I am using Convert Forms to create a Registration Module for Property Managers which I published on a new page (Because two seperate registration pages doesnt work natively? okay..). The registration with Convert Forms works. I can login as a Property Manager and unfortunately is goes wrong at this step.
When a user fills in the Property Manager login module he should stay on the same page, this is how I set it to be. However the module seems to do something else, and that is a problem.
Issue Summary:
When property managers log in to the Joomla site, they are incorrectly redirected to a edit profile page, which displays fields including the property manager profile field but also newsletter subscriber fields! This is however the set redirect action for my newsletter subscribers, which registration was set up at an earlier date.
The expected behavior, I would think, is for my property managers to be redirected to a specific dashboard or welcome page after logging in, which I set in the configuration of the module, without seeing any fields intended for newsletter subscribers.

Joomla Version: Joomla! 5.1.2 Stable

Steps to Reproduce:
My property managers are redirected to the edit profile page upon login, thereby igonoring my configured settings.
This edit profile page includes fields for both property managers and newsletter subscribers, leading to confusion and potential data privacy issues.![:(]( "Sad")

Is this a bug in Joomla's user management and login redirection system. Any guidance on how to achieve the desired functionality or a fix for the redirection and field visibility issues would be greatly appreciated.![:pop]( "Popcorn")

Steps to Reproduce:
- Taking for granted that you already have a login and registration and after login this user is redirected to edit profile page.
- Create a new user under Registered
- Create a new user registration form for the second user type using Convert Forms or another Form extention.
- Ensure that the 2nd user type is assigned to a new user group, create Access Rules level for this type, under Registered User Access Level.
- Create a separate login form for 2nd user and place on a dedicated page, do not set redirect pages, just leave default (should stay on same page).
- Log in as a 2nd user type using the new login form.
- Observe that the 2nd user type is redirected to the edit profile page instead of the intended dashboard or welcome page. Note that the edit profile page displays fields that should only be visible to newsletter subscribers.

Additional Information:
- Attempted to configure some other redirection settings in the 2nd user type login module which didnt have any effect and do not want to manualy redirect these pages.
- I ensured that user groups are correctly set up and that access levels for custom fields are appropriately configured. Cleared site cache to rule out caching issues affecting the behavior.
