If anyone is looking for a sports league (e.g. baseball) extension, I may have a solution for you. I had to write a Joomla 5.x extension to support our baseball league after SportsEngine no longer met our requirements. The extension is called JSports. It is up and running at http://swibl.org. Everything under the "Baseball" tab is directly supported by my sports extension. This extension has been up and running on our "production" site for a year now.
Right now, it supports baseball and I assume it will support baseball, soccer, etc. I am hoping some in the Joomla community can provide ideas on possible features I can add. I normally do most development in the "off season" and my development window is closing this month and I am looking for new feature ideas.
My goal with this extension is to hopefully release it to JED sometime in 2025. We'll see how this progresses. Still a lot to learn about Joomla.
