Quicker, easier and less chance of human error than manual migration. It also checks the server to see if it has problems.

As a fairly recent adopter (last 15 months or so) of Akeeba Backup after decades of manual backups, I’m glad to confirm that there’s now way I’m going back to a manual backup regime.

I was of a similar mindset to the OP (i.e. I don’t need it/I’m happy as I am) but happy to admit that I was wrong.
