So it is possible to create a "abscence" calendar with "Fabrikar" for each user with their own restrictions?

I see it's a paid download so I want to be sure before I purchase :-D.

Yes you can almost anything for joomla with Fabrik,learning curve is a bit steep but the forums are very good. The updated calendar plugin is also a paid download.
