General Questions/New to Joomla! 5.x • Joomla Noob.....actually just Noob in general

My changes in the backend (Joomla! 5.1.4 Stable) just won't appear on the frontend. I have tried clearing all manner of cahce and temporary files but can't seem to make it stick.

Any thought/suggestions?
